“Media” published on the ZeroDegrees Platform refers to video, audio and images, including photos, symbols and logos that are added to listings, articles, recipes, profiles and groups.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the right to publish the media you submit to the ZeroDegrees Platform and that you are abiding by all relevant marketing, intellectual property, and any other applicable laws.
By publishing Media on the ZeroDegrees Platform, you agree to comply with this policy, with our Terms of Service, and with our Content Policy, Trademark Policy, Hate Speech Policy and Disinformation and Misinformation Policy.
Adding images helps to better visualize content and well-optimized images may significantly increase traffic to your page. All photos published on the ZeroDegrees Platform must:

Normally, file names will look something along the lines of “IMG_452840.jpg”. Naming the file with words that are relevant to the image’s context will alert search engine crawlers to the subject matter of the image and help them better understand your image which will improve your SEO value. For example, if you had an image of someone hiking, the file name could be “Man-hiking-cascate-de-pontes-trails-in-geres.jpg”. Please read our SEO Guidelines for more information.

Manipulated videos, where (i) the video has been edited or synthesised, beyond adjustments for clarity or quality, in ways that are not apparent and have a high potential to deceive, or (ii) the video is the product of deep learning (e.g. deep fakes) and contains content that has been merged, combined, replaced and/or superimposed onto the original content, generating a video that appears authentic but is not, are not allowed on the ZeroDegrees Platform.
To report Media that does not comply with this Media policy, please click the report button. When we receive a report of Media that violates this policy, our team will investigate the claim.
If Media is found to violate this policy, we will remove the Media and suspend the account for a period of time. When determining the length of the suspension period for violating this policy, we consider a number of factors including the severity of the violation and the Member’s previous record of violations across all our Terms and Policies. We will send the Member an email to inform of our decision. Subsequent violations will lead to longer suspension periods and may eventually result in termination of the account, pursuant to section 17 of our Terms of Service.
