Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Buy a gift card for yourself or a friend, add a custom message, pick a delivery date, and use it towards booking any service on the ZeroDegrees platform

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”) govern your use of ZeroDegrees Gift Cards (“Gift Cards“) on the ZeroDegrees Platform. Your use of Gift Cards and the services available via the ZeroDegrees Platform shall be subject to our Terms of Service (“Terms”). Any undefined term in these Gift Card Terms has the same definition as in the Terms.

1. Your use of Gift Cards

1.1 Buying a Gift Card. You can buy a Gift Card on the ZeroDegrees platform by visiting https://zerodegrees.health/shop/gift-card/. Gift Cards are digital only and you can choose between the following amounts: €10, €25, €50 and €100. Gift Cards can be purchased for yourself or for someone else. Upon buying a Gift Card for yourself, it will be shown on your ZeroDegrees account and the Gift Card value will be added to your total Gift Card balance. Upon buying a Gift Card for someone else, it will be shown on the recipient’s ZeroDegrees account and the Gift Card value will be added to their total Gift Card balance. The recipient will also receive an email notification and you can add a customised message whilst purchasing the Gift Card. You may also choose to deliver the card at the time of purchase or select a later delivery date and time. You must have a ZeroDegrees account in order to buy a Gift Card.

1.2 Printing a Gift Card. You can print a Gift Card you bought on the ZeroDegrees Platform as a gift for someone else if you selected the option to “Deliver Gift Card Now” whilst placing your order. To print the Gift Card, please check your order confirmation email and click on the link “Print Gift Card”.

1.3 Redeeming a Gift Card. Gift Cards may only be redeemed towards the purchase of any bookable service scheduled via the ZeroDegrees Platform. If a purchase made with a Gift Card is lower than the Gift Card balance, the amount will be deducted from the Gift Card balance, and any unused Gift Card balance will remain on the Gift Card. If a purchase made with a Gift Card exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount due must be paid with another Payment Method. You must have a ZeroDegrees account in order to redeem a Gift Card.

1.4 Checking your Gift Card balance. You can view all your Gift Cards and their balance as well as your total Gift Card balance by signing in to your ZeroDegrees account.

1.5 Gift Card expiration. Gift Cards expire two years after the date of their purchase on the ZeroDegrees Platform.

2. General Terms

2.1 Issuer. Gift Cards are issued by ZeroDegrees of Separation Health, Unipessoal Ltd.

2.2 Fees. No fees of any kind apply to Gift Cards.

2.3 Limitations. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards and are non-refundable. Gift Cards cannot be used to make a reservation of a service listed on the ZeroDegrees Platform. Gift Cards cannot be transferred to another person or ZeroDegrees account. The total Gift Card balance on a ZeroDegrees account cannot be cashed out.

2.4 Risk of Loss. You should treat Gift Cards like cash. Once we electronically transmit a digital Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, the risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser or designated recipient. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is used without your permission.

2.5 Fraud. ZeroDegrees reserves the right to any remedy, including refusal to issue or honour a Gift Card in the event of suspected fraud. We have the right to close a Member’s account and charge alternative Payment Methods if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed to make purchases on the ZeroDegrees Platform.

2.6 Limitation of Liability. In the event a Gift Card is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, will be the replacement of such Gift Card.

2.8 Disputes. Any dispute or claim relating in any way to Gift Cards will be resolved in accordance with the Applicable Law and Jurisdiction section of our Terms.

2.9 No Waiver. ZeroDegrees’ failure to enforce any right or provision in these Gift Card Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing.

3. Applicable law and Jurisdiction

These Gif Card Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese law, and your purchase, receipt, and/or redemption of a Gift Card is subject to Portuguese law unless otherwise specified in the Applicable Law and Jurisdiction section of the Terms.

4. Termination

Your rights under a Gift Card will terminate if you materially fail to comply with these Gift Card Terms, or if your ZeroDegrees account is terminated or suspended. Upon termination, you must cease all use of any Gift Cards, and we may revoke your access to any Gift Card balance.

5. Changes to these Gift Card Terms

ZeroDegrees may modify these Gift Card Terms at any time. When we make material changes to these Gift Card Terms, we will post the revised Gift Card Terms on the ZeroDegrees Platform and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Gift Card Terms. We will also provide you with notice of any changes by email at least 30 days before the date they become effective, and will inform you about your right to terminate your Terms of Service agreement with ZeroDegrees. Unless you terminate your agreement with ZeroDegrees before the date the revised Gift Card Terms become effective, your continued access to or use of the ZeroDegrees Platform will constitute acceptance of the revised Gift Card Terms. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
